TAKE A SPIN AT VZC LIBRARY

The Van Zandt County Library finished off the library’s Summer Reading performances with Mrs. Val - The Spin Science Lady. There were 67 kids and 37 adults in attendance. The Van Zandt County Library thanks the parking team and for also helping direct attendees on where to go and park. “We are so grateful to all of our volunteers, family, and friends for helping us this summer. Dr. Britt gives tour of UT Tyler facilities

Terry Britt (center in blue shirt), former Canton Herald reporter and current assistant professor of communication at the University of Texas at Tyler, recently hosted the Canton High School Advanced Audio/Video class and teacher Catherine Irwin for a visit and tour of the new multimedia studio facilities at UT Tyler. Robotics Team presents robot to Lions Club

The Canton Lions Club met at the Van Zandt Country Club on Wednesday, April 27. The meeting was presided over by President Lace Deibert. The Martins Mill Robotics Team brought their award-winning robot to demonstrate the abilities they have programed into it. Club members were once again amazed by the accomplishments of this group of students and their dedicated coaches from Martins Mill High School.
