The Canton Eagle freshmen boys’ basketball team captured first place in the Mabank Freshmen Tournament Dec. 2. The Eagles defeated Kilgore, 31-25; Brownsboro, 30-18; and Van, 55-22, to claim the tournament championship. The Eagle freshmen team traveled to Caddo Mills Dec. 5 and will compete in the Van Freshmen Tournament Dec. 7-9. Courtesy photo
